Sketchbook Work

These pages highlight small snippets of my overall project, ranging from simple sketches to experimentation with typography and layering of imagery all finding the best way to relay the story to an audience.

This was documenting a research project and experimenting on The London Smog disaster of 1952.

This was part of a branding exercise which I decided to play with and took the 'Grey Goose' vodka as my inspiration to play on the words and imagery and re-brand myself.

Taken from a project about the Shetland Isles, in particular I focused on the Iron Age remains spread across Shetland and Orkney islands. I also researched some of the main industries of Shetland over the years, varying from whaling to fishing and so on.

This explored a Welsh song and playing with the Welsh to English translations and how I could aesthetically convey this in a poetic manner.

These sketchbooks documented the exploration of the Codfish from history to fishing methods.
